Democratic Dialogues with Edward Smith Online

Learn about our country’s Electoral College, with Professor Edward Smith, Polk State College. Smith will explain the origins, the development, and the pros and cons in light of democratic principles.

This program is put on as part of Florida Humanities’ Museum on Main Street program. The “Voices & Votes: Democracy in America” exhibit and related programming are brought to you by Florida Humanities and the Smithsonian Institution. We would also like to thank the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for their generous support of this initiative and the Pulitzer Prizes for their partnership. Local Bartow support has been provided by PalletOne.

Registration: This is a virtual Zoom meeting. Registration is required. Contact Laura Kennedy at 863-534-4381 or LauraKennedy@polk-county.net for details.
